ALOR GAJAH — Seorang pelajar Malaysia muncul sebagai pemenang utama dalam peraduan ‘Iridescent Artwork’ iaitu mencipta logo bagi edisi kelima siri filem blockbuster Hollywood - ‘Transformer’.

Wan Muhammad Hazzim Wan Muhammad Zulkifli, 17, dari Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Datuk Dol Said di sini berjaya menewaskan peserta dari seluruh dunia menerusi pertandingan tersebut.

"Saya tidak menyangka kerana ia kemenangan pertama saya lebih-lebih lagi di peringkat antarabangsa bagi mencipta logo bersempena jelajah konsert Linkin Park di Moscow bermula Jumaat lepas,” katanya ketika ditemui pemberita di rumahnya di Taman Saujana Heights, di sini, petang ini.

Beliau berkata, logo tersebut adalah sebagai latarbelakang lagu latar filem ‘Transformers: Dark Of The Moon’ yang dinyanyikan oleh kumpulan antarabangsa itu.

Katanya, proses menyiapkan logo tersebut hanya memakan masa selama setengah hari dan kemenangan itu merupakan satu kebanggaan bagi diri dan keluarganya. —Bernama

Congratulations to Wan Muhammad Azzim from Malaysia who won the Iridescent Artwork Contest, read Chester’sannouncement below

We are performing what is sure to be an unforgettable show tonight for our Russian fans in Moscow’s Red Square, in celebration of the world premiere event for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Our production team, along with director Michael Bay, have put together an incredible setup amidst a breathtaking setting. I wish you could all be here to witness this performance in person, but since you can’t, we have partnered with MTV and VH1 to air segments of it worldwide.

The premiere event and our performance of “Iridescent” will be highlighted on MTV, MTV2, mtvU, VH1 Classic and Palladia at 8:55pm ET/PT tomorrow, on June 24. A 30-minute piece will air next week on June 30 in English speaking countries. Stay tuned for details and times. ALOR GAJAH, June 27 (Bernama) — A local teenager emerged as winner of the Iridescent Artwork competition to produce a logo for the sixth edition of the Hollywood blockbuster, Transformers.

Wan Muhammad Hazzim Wan Muhammad Zulkifli, 17, from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Datuk Dol Said beat contestants from around the world with his design which was inspired by his interest in the Transformers series.

“I never expected this as it’s my first win, and at an international level at that, for a logo in conjunction with Linkin Park’s concert tour in Moscow which started last Friday,” he told reporters at his home in Taman Saujana Heights, here Monday evening.

The teenager, who aspires to become an animation designer one day, said the logo which took him half a day to produce would be used as the background for the Transformers:Dark Of The Moon soundtrack album and concert tour by the international band.

The prize he has won, however, is unknown as the organisers have yet to contact him on that matter.
